French: 

All French Tutorials will start at the level of Primary School until Pre-University level.

Lara Pictet will tutor French for GCSE, A Levels as well as University Level.

The modules for French GCSE and A Levels change a lot through out the years, therefore if there isn’t a course that is on the list, please email us and I’m sure we will be able to help.

 

 

The areas that will be covered will or can be:

  • French Grammar

  • French Vocabulary (Beginner; Intermediate; Advanced Level 1 & 2)

  • Reading French Books and Plays

  • Essay writing

  • French History

  • French Geography

  • Listening to French News and writing Resumes about the general topics, same goes with Newspaper articles

  • Presentation about something or someone the student is passionate about…In French

  • Games in French

  • Detailed Research about 1 topic that the student is in liberty to choose

Acting:

Acting is about learning to be human. There are so many reasons why I am passionate about Acting, but one of the special reasons is because I learn something new about myself every day.

 

Whether you are interested in Acting or not, it will deepen your knowledge about yourself and how your body and mind work together. I am constantly surprised of the results. So will you.

All Acting Tutorials will start at the level of Primary School until Pre-University level.

Most of the tutoring sessions would be based under: Film Acting.

  • Acting for the lens

  • Audition Technique

  • Meisner Technique

  • Stanislavski Technique

  • Improvisation

  • Method Acting

However, there will also be some Theatre Acting. The areas that can or will be covered are the following:

  • Shakespeare Language

  • Shakespeare Scene Study

  • Phonetics

  • Gen Am (General American) Accent as well as RP (Renounced Pronunciation)

  • Voice Coaching and Breathing Exercises

  • Pure and Applied Movement, (Laban)

  • Reading Plays

  • Improvisation

  • Meisner Technique

  • Stanislavski Technique

  • Method Acting

  • Audition (Drama School and Theatre related) Technique

  • History of Drama

Spanish:

The Level of Spanish will vary between Primary Level and Pre-University level depending on the student.

Dancing:

Dance is about freeing your body to go where ever it needs to go.

 

I want to let the student show me their dancing tactics first. Secondly, we will learn about the different types of dancing and their history, followed by a few Dance Games to ease the student and then we will create a little choreography that will be the team work. 

 

As both the student and the tutor will give input to allow the student to deepen their creativity.

 

The different types of Dancing are the following:

 

  • Hip Hop

  • RnB

  • Salsa
